DESCRIPTION:

The bloc-course is about change leadership. It provides MAS students with coaching and mentoring from two senior change leaders in the attempt to develop critical management skills and bridge the gap between theory and practice

 

The general objective of the course is to enable MAS students with post work experience to think critically about concepts discussed in class during the course on Introduction to Management (i.e., the transformation process by Nadler and Tushman, 1980) and their own professional challenges.

 

MATERIALS:

The bloc-course consists of two parts. For each of the two parts, students are required to do an assignment.

Part 1: Pre-work at home and Assignment 1 (16 hours), prior to November 24, 2017.

Part 2: Lectures and Assignment 2 (14 hours), November 24-25, 2017.

This is an interactive course.

 

AUDIENCE:

MAS Students (third semester) who are enrolled in parallel (Fall 2017) to the course on Introduction to Management (363-0341-00L).

 

ENROLMENT:

Participation is only possible if you are registered in myStudies for this course and you are taking the course of Introduction to Management in Fall 2017.

Registration deadline: November 1, 2017.

1 ECTS - The credit point will only be assigned if the following criteria are met: Full attendance on both course days and completion of course assignments.

RULES FOR REPETITION:

Repetition is not possible within the same term. Repetition is only possible after re-enrolling for the course unit in the next Fall term.
