About me
My background is in Physics and Electrical Engineering, I did research in this fields for a while until finally arriving in innovation management.

I am interested in how ideas are developed and taken to market. If you are interested in doing a thesis in this direction please feel free to contact me, I am happy to meet with you.

Research interests
My main research interest is the development of innovation at an individual level.

Innovation can be defined as monetizing a useful and novel idea, in other words successfully taking a creative idea to market. Now, this idea is imagined by someone, and the process through which this person generates the idea, validates it, takes it to market, and refines it afterward, is what interests me.

My focus lies in the extremes of this process. On one hand, how ideas are generated and validated, and the conditions which improve this process. In the other hand, how entrepreneurial founding teams pivot their company's business plan into something that market values more than their original idea, even when this could mean morphing their individual identity as part of the change.

Broadly speaking I am interested in New Product Development methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean, Agile Manifesto, Stage-gate, Six Sigma, etc.), Problem-solving strategies, Ecosystem analyses, and in general the process through which either an opportunity for change is found, or a threat is encountered and a new business paradigm is developed.
