In the next 10 years, we need to profoundly reconsider our relationship with resources, consumption, and, ultimately, with each other. Given the urgency of our planetary boundaries and the need for societal transformation to mitigate the consequences of climate change, I am focused on conducting research that delivers immediate societal impact. This commitment led me to join a small but growing research subgroup at TIM, which tackles grand societal challenges. I am particularly interested in exploring how cooperative structures can enhance resilience and sustainability.

With a background in social sciences and organization and management research, I am passionate about contributing innovative ideas to both business and society. I completed my PhD studies at the University of St.Gallen, where I wrote my dissertation on the role of stakeholders in organizational adaptation to changing markets. Specifically, I spent four years researching the antecedents of market change and firm survival within the Swiss private banking industry. During this time, I contributed to several industry studies, notably in collaboration with KPMG Switzerland from 2019 to 2023. It was also during this period that I spent three months as a visiting scholar at USC Marshall in Los Angeles. Throughout my PhD, I also gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant in master’s, PhD, and executive-level courses.

Before my time at the University of St.Gallen, I worked as a business case study researcher at the University of Zurich and as a research assistant at the European Politics Group at ETH Zurich. As for earlier experiences...well, that was a long time ago! I would be delighted to share more about myself and my research over a cup of tea or coffee.
